The main purpose of this Blog is to provide business professionals a background in Web technologies. As a software engineer I have years of experiencing working with non-technical business representatives and have had the privilege of explaining how technology can help grow their business.

Who are we?
We are a small software development shop located in the Princeton New Jersey area specializing in web site design and application development. SpartanSoft keeps overhead costs to a minimum via virtual work environments enabling us to pass on the savings to our clients. Our team is small allowing us to provide excellent customer service as well as enabling us to be nimble. We find web technology, solving business needs and the comradely with the professionals we have dealt in the past quite thrilling. Anytime we get to experience one of our web designs going live is quite rewarding.
One dimension which makes us different is that all our employees hold full time positions in large corporations performing web design or Microsoft Windows development but enjoy working as our “own” company. You may wonder how this can benefit you, first we are not interested in quantity of web design clients but rather quality work for one client at a time focusing on requirements to deployment of the website. This is not our primary occupation, enabling us to offer our services at extremely competitive costs alleviating all overhead associated with most companies such as rent, benefits, etc. We can pass these savings to you, the web design/development client.
We posses vast experience dealing with all phases of the web development life cycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment and maintenance. Our years of experience have rewarded us with the knowledge of how to efficiently deploy web sites having experienced and resolved the common pitfalls associated with this activity.
We are a Microsoft shop and have been working on the bleeding edge technology from Beta, CTP, to final release of the .Net framework. We have had the privilege of working with the .Net framework 2.0 for over two years and are now experimenting with Vista and the 3.0 framework and SQL Server 2005. Although we specialize in Microsoft technologies we do not limit ourselves in that arena. We have worked with PHP, MYSQl and other non Microsoft technologies when the client’s needs warranted it.
We take extreme pride in our website design and application development. Although most of our work originates in Connecticut and New Jersey due to the proximity of our people, we have had clients throughout the US including California (see our website development testimonial page). With todays technology (email, instant messenger, web meetings, etc.) location becomes irrelevant in software development and website design.
